COURSE DETAILS:

BACHELOR OF PHARMACY (B. PHARM)

Duration: 4 Years Total Seats: 60 [42 seats under convener & 18 seats under management quota]

Eligibility for B.Pharm Course admission:

• A Pass in Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with individual pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology (or) Mathematics both theory and practical with a minimum of 40% marks and with not less than 50% aggregate marks in the above subjects is mandatory. The student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
• A pass in D.Pharmacy course candidates may seek admission directly into the B.Pharmacy II year course through Lateral Entry.

PHARM.D(Doctor of Pharmacy):

Duration of course: Six (6) years Total Seats: 30 [21 seats allocated for Convener & 9 seats for Management quota]

Eligibility for Pharm.D admission:

• A pass in any of the following examinations is required to seek admission into Pharm.D:
• 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects of Mathematics or Biology.
• A pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
• Any other equivalent education recognized by the State of Telangana, Hyderabad.
• Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course.

Hospital MOU:

We are having a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Nagnur, Karimnagar, which is a MCI approved 1000 bedded private teaching hospital to train the Pharm.D students to achieve the beneficial objectives of the Pharm.D programme.

The following departments were available at PIMS hospital to train Pharm.D students.

• General Medicine

• Orthopedics

• Paediatrics

• Skin & VD

• Obstrectician and Gynecology

• Psychiatry

Teaching Staff: The strength & backbone of the Pharmacy practice department is well qualified and specialized faculty members along with teaching 1000 bedded hospital.
